NINJOURNAL #1: WHAT’S NEXT — NEW MODE, IOS RELEASE & BUG FIXES

Hey everyone! This is Mikhail, the producer behind Ninja Party.
Thanks for the warm welcome, Ninja Party already has over 100K installs, a 4.6 rating on Google Play, and 83% positive reviews on Steam

Your feedback helps us keep improving the game.

We know there are still problems. Since this is early access, our job is to fix them quickly and make the gameplay better. Your progress will not be reset, but the game and its mechanics will change over time.

Not every change will please everyone — and that’s fine. We’ll listen to all opinions and work towards making Ninja Party the best it can be.

Technical Issues

Our current top priorities:

  • Endless match waiting
  • Error when starting a match
  • Freeze after watching an ad
  • Low performance on some devices

The first three bugs are rare, which is why they slipped past testing — but we’re already fixing them.

Performance is trickier: real-time PvP in a fighting game requires high CPU power for accurate player synchronization.

You might ask, “Why does Ninja Party lag when other games with similar or better graphics run fine?”

The reason is that in Ninja Party, every movement and hit is synced in real time across all players.

If we used standard shooter netcode, you’d often see situations where you clearly hit someone, but it doesn’t register. Our netcode minimizes those situations — but it comes at the cost of higher CPU load. This reduces visual errors and makes fights fairer, but it also means the game is more demanding on devices, especially processors.

What you can do right now:

You can try playing the Steam version, and in some cases a stable home Wi-Fi connection might improve things.

Otherwise, it’s just a matter of waiting for us to fix the issue — but again, this one will take longer to resolve than the other problems in the game.

New Mode: Blitz

We’re reworking the main mode to make matches faster and more dynamic:

  • All maps — including some you haven’t seen yet
  • Modes from “Brawls” — katana fights, bazooka battles, and more
  • New win conditions — no spectator mode, no matches ending too early
  • No repeating the same map twice in a row

We believe Blitz will fix many of the current gameplay issues, make matches more intense, and let you play more rounds in the same amount of time.

Release: late August.

We can’t wait to hear what you think!

iOS Version

It’s almost ready, but we want to launch it with the major fixes already in place — so the release will be alongside Blitz.

We know this delay might disappoint some of you, but it gives us a better chance of making a great first impression.

Progression System

Finally, let’s talk about the Ninja Path.
We see that many players aren’t sure:

  • What exactly gives you resources
  • How fast the battle pass levels up
  • What affects your progress in the Ninja Path

We’re going to fix that:

  • Make the system more transparent
  • Make the UI clearer
  • Make rewards more logical and motivating

This work has already started in parallel with Blitz, but the update will come a bit later. We’ll announce the date separately — stay tuned!

Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts, it inspires us and helps us move faster.
We’re looking forward to your feedback on Blitz and are already working on new maps, modes, weapons, and skins.

And remember — this is just the beginning. The real ninja journey is ahead!
